T. Udaya Kumar
T. Udaya Kumar is an award-winning sound designer and an educator with over two decades of experience in Indian cinema. He has worked in more than 700 films across the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam and International movie industries, earning a reputation for creating immersive soundscapes that enhance storytelling and emotional depth. As one of a co-Founder of Sound Vibe Studios, Chennai, Udaya Kumar combines technical expertise with a strong narrative sensibility. His work spans sound design, sound mixing, and creative sound supervision, contributing to numerous critically acclaimed and commercially successful films.
In addition to his work in cinema, Udaya Kumar has made significant contributions to sound design education in Tamil Nadu. He has been involved in syllabus development for film and media programs and is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of sound professionals. Through academic collaborations, workshops, and hands-on training, he continues to inspire young filmmakers to treat sound as a vital element of cinematic storytelling.
Renjith Venugopal
Renjith Venugopal is an accomplished Sound Engineer with over a decade of experience in film and media. He began his career in 2010 after completing his Diploma in Sound Engineering and later earned a B.Sc. in Film Technology (Sound Engineering) from SRM Film Institute, Chennai.After working as a freelance Sound Engineer in Mumbai, he spent a defining phase of his career under the mentorship of Udayakumar, refining his craft across diverse productions.He later co-founded Sound Vibe Studios alongside Udayakumar and Saravana Kumar.With over 400 films to his credit, Renjith brings precision, creativity, and reliability to every project.
M. Saravana kumar
A Sound Engineer since 2007, he began his career in Chennai and went on to work across leading studios, building nearly two decades of industry experience. He spent seven formative years under the mentorship of Udayakumar, sharpening his expertise in cinematic sound.With over 550 films to his credit as a Sound Engineer, he brings depth, precision, and consistency to every project. He also serves as a Committee Member of the Cine Audiographer Association of South India (CASSI). Together with UdayKumar and Renjith Venugopal he co-founded Sound Vibe Studios, creating a studio dedicated to delivering powerful, immersive, and technically refined sound for cinema.
